Midwest Clay Project is happy to host a workshop w/ Joel Huntley next month, May 15-17.  Over the three days, through discussion, demonstration and hands-on practice for participants, Huntley will provide an in-depth opportunity to learn the fine points of traditional slip-decorating techniques used in English & American Redware folk pottery.  Preserved today by only a handful of production potteries in the U.S., Huntley mastered these decorating techniques to create his unique line of wares for Wisconsin Pottery in Columbus, WI which he and his wife Deb Huntley ran for over thirty years.
