Midwest Clay Project

Midwest Clay Project offers monthly studio membership for individuals who have prior ceramics experience and would like to have ongoing access to the studio and materials.  Monthly members have unlimited access to open studio hours Monday-Saturday, and those who also join Clay Crew may work on Sundays.  Monthly members must either first take a class at Midwest Clay Project or demonstrate adequate knowledge to support their independent use of the studio.  At times, MCP staff might suggest that someone join one of our classes to learn about how the studio works before becoming a monthly member.  Monthly membership can be purchased in advance for up to one year.  Advance purchase guarantees the current membership rate at the time of purchase should rates increase during the coming year.

• $60. per month 
• Unlimited studio access during day and evening open studio hours (this varies slightly with the class schedule, times are listed in the left sidebar).
• Includes 10lbs. of finished fired clay each month - clay weight is determined on a monthly basis and will not be averaged between months.  There is $2.00/lb. fee for additional finished, fired clay weight ($1.50/lb. for Clay Crew members).
• Access to community shelving, tools and bats, as well as all standard glazes and slips in MCP’s cone 6 oxidation palette.

Additional amenities available to monthly members:

• Locker w/ key = $10. per month
• Shelf Space, approx 5′ x 15′ = $15. per month

MCP reserves the right to deny monthly membership to anyone who does not respect studio practices or the privacy of others using the space.
